What do you accept?
We accept all clothing, shoes, linen, and towels in any size.
Do you take toys, books, or furniture?
Sorry, at this point we just take clothing, shoes, linen, and towels etc.
What happens to the clothing?
All clothing donated to Pick Purple is sorted and put to use based on its condition. Clothing is reused in the used clothing market, servicing needy people with affordable clothing. All profits generate funds for Batya, a program dedicated to empowering teenage girls, creating the leaders of the next generation.
Can I get a tax deductible receipt?
Upon request, we will send you a tax deductible receipt for your donation, completing the circle of benefit.
Is there a charge?
There is no charge for pickups but we gladly accept donations. All donations are tax deductible.
Do you have drop-off locations?

What happens if I forgot to put out my clothes?
No big deal! Mistakes can happen and we’ll allow for one reschedule per house. Our office rep will call you to reschedule for the following week.
What is Batya?
Batya is a youth group servicing hundreds of teenage girls throughout the region, with programs designed to strengthen relationships, leadership skills, and self-awareness, while encouraging our girls to 'love life' with a fun and upbeat approach.
Where is Batya located?
Our main office is based in New Jersey and we have branches throughout New Jersey and New York, and have branches Florida, Illinois and Maryland.
